Community Service

Community Service is our second pillar that give the Hermanas to give back to their community. To be considered an active Hermanas member, it is required to complete 8 full hours of community service. While participating in a variety of community service events, it allows the Hermanas to really appreciate the opportunity that they have of attending college and getting an education that will strengthen their present and future life.

Our LADIES are troopers! All of them woke up at 3am to do community service at the Divas Half Marathon in Temecula. Many great memories were made

Our girls put in work at Compton Initiative. There were so many of us from CPP that they had to find extra jobs for us. Great way to show support! It's always a pleasure to give back to the community

Some of our Hermanas woke up at 5 a.m. for this community service event. The United Way Home Walk was a great and fun experience for our girls to get to know more people and help raise money for the poor.

Our lovely ladies showed support at the 30th annual 10K AIDS Walk in Los Angeles with many other HaU and HU chapter. Hermandad was strong and present!

Hermanas Unidas de Cal Poly Pomona started the summer off with a brown bagging event with HU de CPP and HaU de UC Berkeley
